Ink Drawings, 2010/11.

These are from a series of ink drawings I did in 2010/11. I used photographs as reference and an ink pen with a brush tip. My mom gave me the pen for Christmas a few years ago and it has been one of the best presents I have been given.

Random Paintings

This is a painting called "Koalapistonbooks." I did it in 2006/7 while at Mount Olive College. I look back at it and I can see it as an early step into my current, more mature abstract. I gave this to my friends Jeff and Naureen Hubbard as a wedding present.

This is a painting that was commissioned by my friend Tammie Moore that incorporated images that she had photographed while deployed in Afghanistan. (Sadly this is not a very good photo of this painting.)  circa 2009.

End of 2011

I didnt't get a lot of time in 2011 to create. Not as much as I would have liked by a long shot. So to better my chances, I rented a small studio space in the local Arts Council building at the end of November. I was only able to spend a handful of hours in studio during December, but I was able to finsh work on a couple of new paintings and enjoy myself in the process.

Greetings!

Hello and welcome to my art blog. I hope to be updating this from time to time with images of my work. I will likely post my recent works, but I might throw up some old stuff just for the fun of it. I will also feature likns to artist I know and artist whose work I like. I welcome comments and most of my paintings and drawings are for sale. Contact me for further information. Here's a photo of me looking thoughtful.
Cheers,
Adam Beeby
