After a short hiatus from painting, I was able to get back in the studio this week and begun work on a new painting. These are images from the first day back in studio. I was nervous about getting back to work for some reason. I don't know where the anxiety came from, but as I began to work, it went away. I was very pleased that the work went well, and the painting started taking life.
